From the First Jew to the Los Angeles Jewish Community

As early as the 1840’s, Jews were making their mark in Los Angeles, working hard to make our little pueblo into a thriving town, then city, and later, a metropolis.

Here we discover what everyone should know about those Jewish Pioneers of Los Angeles who helped shape our city to all its glory that it is today.

We will all soon understand the importance of the Jewish Community of Los Angeles, and how it came to thrive here.
