Created by the Jewish Value of Philanthropy
In this section are Exhibits on Jewish Community Organizations created by the Early Pioneers of Los Angeles.
To “Qualify” for these Exhibits, each organization has to be over 100 years old.
Many Organizations were started by other already established Jewish Organizations and some were “break-a-ways” from the original one.
As noted by Rabbi William Kramer z”l, many organizations got so wrapped up in their growth – that they lost track of their beginnings.
We hope to correct that for those of us that wish to create new Jewish Community Organizations.
