William Gallick was born in 1830, in Germany.


Along the way . . .

In 1850, William Gallick came to New York, at the age of 20.

In 1852, William Gallick moved in New Haven, Connecticut.

William Gallick and his family moved West, stopping in California and Oregon before settling in Butte, Montana in 1881.

William Gallick built up a successful wholesale liquor distributorship.

In 1908, the Gallick family returned to the East coast.



William Gallick was a member of Congregation B’nai Israel.



William Gallick  was a 32nd Degree Mason, and a Mystic Shrine Noble.

He was also a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and the Ancient Order of United Workmen.

He was also a member of B’nai B’rith.



In 1852, William Gallick married Blumchen Mandel (1834-1916).

They had three children.


William Gallick died in 1914 and is buried in the B’nai Israel Cemetery.

Blumchen Gallick died in 1916.
